If I recall correctly, the 1992 750 is part of the Nighthawk series.  It's different enough from the 1982 CB750.  Might be better to find an appropriate Clymer manual for your machine.  There are links to a Common Service Manual for Hondas.  Try this link:

Google is your friend. :-)

Here is a manual for your bike. It might give you the length.

Hi Dave,

I just bought a 1992 CB750 also. It's in pretty good shape. Can anyone tell me where I can get the basic owner's manual? Also, a good source for OEM mufflers. Or perhaps, a nice aftermarket muffler. Has anyone tried the K&N air filter in the '92?

Haven't ridden in 3 years since I sold my last bike. I've got a hip operation coming up soon, so am spending the time cleaning and fixing the bike so it's ready to ride as soon as I am.

Appreciate the posts in this forum.

Well, I am not familiar with the 92. I would like to be! Anyways, for the cost of the stock honda filters, if you got a bit of extra cash, try the k&n. I did on my bike and it works well. The stock honda filter was $35, the k&n was 45. Yeah it didn't tack much to push me. If anything, you might be able to sell it if you don't like it.

I will see if I can find a pdf for the owners manual but in the mean time, download the shop manual just so you got it.

Thanks, Re-run. How about mufflers---got a source for them, or should I look at an aftermarket 4 into 1?

Appreciate it!

Being a 92, after market should be pretty good. Honda might still have them too.
