74 cb750 sputter in first gear!!!

Hi, Im new here, I have a problem with my 74 cb750.
The bike start good and idle good but when Im ready to ride that happen, put first gear relesed the clutch and it got no power and sputter and sometimes the engine die, Im really lost with this one.
PLEASE HELPPPPP!!!

Are you using the choke when you first start and ride? These are cold blooded machines and when you first start and go, you need choke. If you are making use of the choke, then you will want to pull out your spark plugs and see what color they are, they might be lean or way too rich.
