77 CB750, What other honda models have same headlight assembly?

Jason R
I'm having a bad time finding a headlight assembly for my '77 CB750 on Ebay.  I know other Honda models use the same assembly but I can't find any references to which one exactly.  Anyone know?

After I get my headlight I get to start shopping for a new/used seat...fuuuuunnnnnnn

Thanks

Jason

Found my Answer!

I ended up cross referencing OEM part numbers between different models at www.bikebandit.com.  It appears that the CB450 & CB500 between the years 1972-74 have the same OEM # for the black housing/case as my '77 CB750.  This has given me a few more search options on Ebay etc.  Other part numbers might still fit but I didn't want to risk it; these headlights are selling for $30 & up right now.

If this if sound wrong or I'm missing some models please let me know

Hope you can get one. Looks like Honda OEM is $61 for the black shell, $25 for the chrome ring and $42 for the light.

I am in need of a complete headlight assembly plus the ears that hold it to the forks for my 69 750. I searched bike bandit and apparently oem is not available but there are a couple of replacements but I think the size could be wrong.  It seems like mine is almost 8 inches in diameter whereas the one they advertise is 6 1/2 inches.

You won't find oem ears for a 69, just not going to happen. Not on a typical site anyways.

It will make it harder since the 69 ears are the same color as the bike tank and sidecovers.

Here is the only 1 I found on ebay and they are just primed http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-HONDA-CB750-K0-HEADLIGHT-BRACKET-FORK-EAR-UPPER-COVER-NOT-PAINTED-F137-/131297050670?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e91ea002e&vxp=mtr

High price on them. You could get 71 or so ears for much cheaper and either shine them up or paint them.

Typical name is Fork Ears.

As for the headlight, they were generally a 7 inch light. That is what I have on my 78 with stock fork ears.
