77K cylinder gasket

Should I use any sealent on the cyclinder base gasket when going back toghether.
I see they didn't from the factory when I removed it. If so what would you guys recommend.

Everything I've read says either not to use any, or use a tiny amount. If you use a tiny amount, it literally means throwing out the applicator, putting some on some cardboard, and using a paintbrush to put as little as you possibly can on.

Lots of warnings against using any gasket sealer at all on the other cb 750 sites.

Do not use ant sealant on that gasket. However be sure to install the four O-rings over the cylinder sleeves.
