hello just thought i would pop in and post my project. He is a 1979 CB750K i got it stock except the exhaust was changed to 4 to 2 and a pretty tall sissy bar. bought it with 9000 on the clock from the second owner. so far i have updated the tires went through the carbs and im about to replace the stator,rotor and reg. rec. plugs n such. also changed bars to black super bike bars. i have a question i need a petcock and brushes any ideas? been checkin ebay and amazon but thought maybe someone knows someone ya know lol. anyway i will post pics asap.

Welcome to the forum. Very nice looking bike you've got there. And I'm not just saying that because I've got one too.

Hit some of the links in our parts sources thread. The brushes should be pretty easy to find. 79 to 82 should all be the same. Watch out on the petcock though, they made changes to the thread size during the model run (79-82) so if you get one for another year it may not fit. Sorry, I don't know the size off the top of my head, I just remember some other member's getting used petcocks that didn't fit.

thanks this pic is shortly after i got it last summer. This spring i changed the tires to shinko 712's went through the carbs replaced reg-rec stator and rotor. oh and superbike bars. thanks for the info im checkin around hope to be on road by first of month. recent pics soon. this site rules
