82 CB750K carb issues?

I'm purchasing an 82 CB750K that will not stay running.  If you give it gas it stops.  What would be the first suspects?   Bought to do a vintage cafe project.  Thanks

The first thing I'd do is take the carbs apart and clean them.  Then see how it runs.

Thanks, that was my first plan.  Just wanted to see what the thoughts were on the DOHC models.
