98 CB 750

Actually I don't like this model, but living in Indonesia it's all I could find...So time to retroize it. Here's a pic with the tin painted. Just pulled it all apart so the frame and wheel are off to the powder coater. The tank juuust fits but had to move the front pins on the frame and make a bracket for the rear tank mounting.

The side panels are tin and made locally, real cool actually, the louvres are real and the space for the shock mounting is about an inch back from the original. The side panels actually fit unser the seat so it's a neater fit than it looks here.

The tin is just thrown on to give an idea of what it will look like finished.

So, you are taking a 98 and making cosmetic changes to have lit look like an 80s model?

What color are you going with?

Well, yes, but not entirely like an 80's one, and that is the colour. there's a blacknstripe running down the middle.

Very cool. It looks like F3 rims and forks, but I'm guess the rear suspensions is stock?

Very impressive work on the side panels. They look factory made.

Yeah, if he made those, he could probably make a few bucks selling additional panels.

Here's another view...the seat is locally made too.
