Just took the grand-kids to an Areanacross race. It was loud, smelly and smokey. In other words - awesome! If one of these events comes to your area, I recommend you check it out. It wasn't very expensive for good seats and it was really entertaining. Lasts about 3 hours. They even had a 65CC class for the little kids.
This is coming from someone who absolutely hates crowds! I won't even go in a shopping mall. The biggest sporting even I've attended, before this, was a junior high school football game, and that was only because my son was on the team.
The racing action flat wore these little boys out! They crashed within ten minutes of hitting the couch. Looks like a first turn pileup the way they passed out on top of each other.

HAHA! First turn pile-up! The little kid classes are a blast to watch.They put on a show like that in my area when the monster trucks come to town,but our arena is so little that the trucks literally cant even turn.I know the drivers hate coming here.The ONLY reason for going is to watch the Peewee Class on the little 50 and 60 cc bikes.That and it makes my lady happy. Glad ya'll had a good time!
p.s. I hear ya on the crowds.I havent been to any mall since i got my drivers license and had a choice in the matter.
