At the crossroads and unsure which way to go... 750 FB

rlc2502
I bought a motorcycle not so long back, she hasn't run in over a decade so cleaned carbs out etc, battery on and she fired straight away (the carbs do need sorting though). I've more or less took the full bike to pieces barring getting the heavy lump out the frame (ohhh it's heavy) this is a pic mid progress

I'm really not sure how I want to go with it... I am really not a fan of the back end on this model, would it be possible to move the shocks forward (at the top) and then chop the ass of the frame off?  I'd quite like to raise the back end and drop the front... Until I get my head around which way I want to go I'm reluctant to touch her!

Any advice, ideas are appreciated

I watched the video.  I almost found it too embarrassing to watch - adjustable wrench, throwing nuts on the floor, then out came the claw hammer.  He reminded me of my dad - he was a butcher too.  Actually I wish he'd used the epoxy method for attaching the rear shock absorber and videod his first ride.  It's probably best if he never gets the part he needs for the carb!

I'm pretty sure his whole line of videos there is an attempt at satire. Poking fun at the whole cafe-hipster scene. But yeah, even with that in mind, they are still hard to watch. You oughta see the one where he ''tunes for pods''.

His own "cafe racer'' is in that video. It's all in good humor,I guess.

I watched his entire series this weekend. It was great. I almost feel like I should put my bike back to stock and just leave it alone now.

Good video... There's a very thin line between making a motorcycle look cool and ridiculous.. I shall plan it properly!!

Loved the videos on U Tube.  This guy is so funny.  I watched the first 10.  I particularly appreciated the ingenious application of nails to the seat and his screwdriver is the best.  I could never have come up with the knife using a razor blade and vice grips.  I think I'll be using that one myself.

I'm assuming that the video was made as a joke.  Is that what one of the posters means by saying, "  I got 'trolled'  " ?
