I've bought a 1982 CB 750FB for about £500 and intend to turn it into a race bike.
Having found much conflicting information on what works and doesn't work when it comes to modifying these bikes, I've decided to just give things a try and report my successes and failures here as I encounter them.
This can be used for reference for anyone else that decides to mod their bikes.
The racing rules have limits on what you can do to the bike, but there's still a lot of scope for tuning various parts.
To start with, I'll be working on fuelling for my pod filters, then chassis (suspension), and lastly engine tuning and (fuelling again :D )
Bear in mind I'm not an expert so I'll be calling on knowledge here and using some trial and error.
Right...I hope to update this thread as things progress.
