I would say you have a nice start if a chop is what you want.
I would probably strip things down and get the frame powder coated and such. Mainly cosmetic stuff.
Slap some nice paint on the body bits and clean the engine up and it will look pretty nice I think.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

  I'm a nut fer clean details ,makes it easyer to see problems ,Also think you have a great start for a chop.
 ,they don't handle like any other bike it is one in itself ,good luck

it is just mocked up and parts will be painted and powder coated..... plus these are not the bars that are going back on or seat..... just gettin parts where i need them so i can see what the finished product will look like..........

the forward controls are a one off and are actually sportster pegs.... the whole frame was built from scratch and ill have many more pics as the bike comes together..... im in the process of cleaning up welds and ridding it of surface rust...... i have had bobbers, choppers, sport bikes and i have to say this is my favorite ride so far..... it actually rides out very well with the raked front

It needs a spring mounted seat or else it will be no fun.
The whole bike needs to be taken apart and painted.
That rust will continue until you put a stop to it.
