Cam chain guide

desperado1971
I'm rebuilding a 1981 cb750c. Can anyone help me figure out how to put this chain guide back in correctly. When I tore the engine apart I remember pulling it out from the top of the head. Took pics but they don't show this part and how it fits back in. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe it mounts somewhere close to the cam chain tensioner or in front of the engine next to the chain.

It is part#15 in this diagram. It goes down in the front of the block before the head goes on. There should be a metal pin going through it that sets into a slot in the block. Yours seems to be missing part of it.
