Cb360t model year?'s

Waynegdg
I'm looking at this cb360t. I can get it pretty cheap, doesn't run, been sitting for years. The guy doesn't have a title and doesn't know the year. I'm trying to get an idea of the year before I drive the two hours to look at it. Thanks for any info

Clean looking bike. It should have the model year and date of manufacture on that brown tag that is on the steering neck. The owner should be able to read it.

Yep, as TOOLS said, look on that brown plate on the neck, you can see it in your first pic. It will have a manufacturing date.

I too have an old Honda CB750 DOHC that I cant work out the year/model of
Frame Number is RC012301045.  Spent its life in South Africa apparently.  Paperwork says 1994 but loks more 1979 from what i can find on the internet.  Any help appreciated.  It needs a centre stand and side panels so need some help to find the right parts please.

That is most certainly NOT a 94. Definitely a 79-83 most likely. It looks to be missing the vin plate BUT, it may still be stamped into the neck. I don't have my cb to look at, but I seem to remember the date and vin being stamped into the neck as well as on the plate. So, look very carefully at the neck on both sides, you may see something.

Thanks for your help.  It looks like a 1979 from what I read.  The title papers from South Africa are entertaining to read but not much help.
It seems pretty much all there except the keys!  Centre stand and side panels.  Will get a battery on it soon and try to fire it up.

The ignition may have a stamped number on it. if so, you should be able to cross reference that number with honda and get a key that works without changing everything.

Google David Silver spares. They have an "identify my bike" service (free!) and will identify it from frame number by return email.
