I have a 73 CB750 Four with Clubman bars on it. They hit the tank when turned the whole way. Any suggestions to help stop this? Someone told me bar risers but I'm afraid it's going to take away from the whole look of the bike. Help? Thanks
Nice bike. You can adjust the bars toward the front some more and that will place the ends further forward. This will give you more room with steering.
Yeah, I agree the bars are way too low. The curve of the bar should hug your dials more closely. Doing this would solve your problem. (see pic attached)
Something that is also done on sportbikes,, for the this same issue, when swapping front ends between bikes is to drill and tap, then put in a small socket head bolt, in either the stops on the frame, or the stops on the lower triple. Hope that helps. DZ
