Sometimes CL payes off!!
This is a 1972, 6 over front forks, metal flake paint, drag spec. gauges, straight out of the 70's!
This is a 74 with a 75 motor, this came just frame and a motor. Using left over 78k parts to do something with it. Got a title with the 74 but the vin # on title matches the vin on motor. I guess ill have to keep that motor, put it in a trunk of any car and register it!
Old fashioned trade for both bikes.
No reason a CB 750 cant be your first bike at 15 years old!!

Im thinking the same as you! The more i look at it the cooler it looks. Yesterday i put my 78 swing arm on it, it lowered the rear some more. Im going to swap my ss rear shocks they are an inch shorter. I also got it running last night, boy these are tough! It was froze when i got it, keeped hosing it with thrust and workibg it back and forth till it freed up. I dont have a spare exhaust fot it, but i fired it up anyway. Shot flames out bout a foot!!
The problem is I need some stuff to get it going. I only got the bare frame so I need a lower triple tree since i swaped shafts on my piper build, the one that is on it is to short i cant get bearings in it. Im not sure what bike it came from, got it with some other random parts, its Honda but dont know model. Also need exhaust, complete clutch and im sure other stuff. My problem is i keep getting parts bikes but i get them together rather then use them for parts! Also no time to work on Piper!!

Tools you think a "konger" or a hardtail bob? I dont think it would look good with the 78k tank on a Konged frame but it might. Only one way to find out!! I got to stop getting bikes. I'll never finish Piper! I havnt touched it since i got these last two bikes.

I have pictures of 77-78 tank on a hard tailed frame in my "Mortal Vindication" build thread. It really looked pretty good, and I thought about using it until Shiny turned me onto an old Zundapp tank.
