FORK SWAP FROM A 1980 CB900C TO A 1979 CB750K?????

Ooldskuul
Hi all.  Thanks for the great treatment for a new guy.  Much appreciated.  Tools told me the other day that all I need to do is bolt the front end from the 900 onto the front end of the 750.  I have read the front end removal section in both shop manuals.  Apparently, on  the 750, (just like tools said), all I have to do is disconnect all the cables & wires that come from the body out to the front end.  On the front end I just remove the speedo / tach console & the fork top bolts, stem nut & setting bolts.  Once I have the front wheel off the ground, just rip it off.  Correct???  Repeat all of the above for the 900.  Yes???

If this is correct....Tools you 're right....This is WAY too easy.

Please tell me that all of this is correct...Please , pleeeease.

thank you.

You don't need to disconnect all the cables. Just unbolt the handlebars, and lay them to the side. See it is even easier then you thought.
