HEI conversion

so i bought a 1980 cb750 dohc did the conversion using the stock coils first and no start but had spark. then redid the the ignition to the revised setup using the gm coils but no spark now? followed the direction precisely but still no spark. can some help me i have no idea what im doin wrong?

ive herd if you try to start the bike without a spark plug plugged in it will burn out a coil..iv never tried it tho...did you check youre fuses?maybe you just blew a fuse?

havent check the fuses yet but i did only have on plug and wire attached at the time just to see if i set it up right ill try to set plugs up and see if that fixes the problem ill also check the fuses. and also another question i was poking around this site and just seen the gm coil and relay conversion. does that replace my setup? just poked at it and didnt really read it now i cant find it again.

Use the search box (top right hand corner) Type in "gm coil". You will get dozens of references
