I am not a vet, but I have a few family members who have done their service:
Father, 21 years, Marine Corps
Sister, 21 years, US Navy
2 brothers-in-law, 20+ years, UDT/Seal, US Navy

I like to think I've done my time, especially growing up on military base, and living under an "old Corps" regime. :-)

Thank you for your service, and for keeping the United States of America safe.

Well I am a vet of the OEF and OIF wars or combat zones how ever ppl want to call them. I spent 7 yrs and change between active duty army (paratrooper) out of Fort Bragg, NC and then did a few yrs with the local National Guard unit in my home town in Ohio. I plan on getting a tattoo on my right leg of my old active duty units unofficial badge with the only soldier's name that we lost while I was with them over there. I to would like to do something on my bike that is in memory of all those before and after myself that have kept me free and will keep me free, just don't no what yet since my wife put the brakes on the bike build until her bathroom gets done lol.

Just ride your bike.
That is what they would want you to do. Express your freedom and how you feel about being alive.

30 years Army artillery, retired. God bless all our military, active, retired, reserve and guard, and all the wonderful vets out there who served their country with honor and distinction. I'm looking for a restorable 750 or 900. I live in San Antonio if anybody has one laying around.
