Honda K3 tool box

I have a 1973 CB 750 and I can't find where the tool kit is supposed to be stored. I have seen them under the side cover, but there is no compartment, and I have seen them under the seat next to the battery, but on my bike there also seems to be no place to put it.

Where is the correct location for the tool kit on this year model?

I thought it went in a tray beside the battery also.
