I posted on here somewhere a long time ago about that bike. It's a shame they never produced it.

Wow, good find.
I thought that was a Vincent.
Sure does look like one.
What was this, a one off or something?

He was a player in the 80's for a bit in the motocross world.
His stuff, the mx stuff, if one can find them, are super rare and expensive.
Mugen, they we're trick.

Looks like he was like his Dad, when he went racing, he went racing.

The guy in the following article, Johnny O'Mara, really
was the guy that transformed old school motocross to what it is today.
He was the guy that when confronted with 2, maybe 3 big jumps in a row,
just pinned it and cleared all of them.
Before Johnny O, doubles and triples, or guys that did them, just didn't exist.

In the 50's, the fastest bike you could buy.
The Vincent Black Shadow.
Didn't have the Model stamped anywhere on the bike,
feeling was, if you knew bikes, you knew this one.

This post was updated on .
I saw one of those cafe'd out at Birmingham last summer. I'll see if I can find the pic. It was a beautiful bike, but seems a shame to be modified like that.

*EDIT* Found 'em!

Those spokes on the rear wheel(which are awesomely short due to a bada$$ rear brake) don't seem like they would work.  I mean...they don't criss-cross...when you apply power to them wouldn't they try to just flex instead of pushing the bike forward??? same thing on the front spokes when you jump on the brakes. Strange.
