Thanks guys! Cowboy..not even close lol his is black and red striped and mine's a vintage flannel. Funny story too! I bought it from that $#@% son whos dad is always trying to out bid everybody on STORAGE WARS for a $1.00 lol. I didn't know until he gaved me a sticker with the yeeep! on it. On my the tank is from a 93 sporty that I found at a yard sale for $50. Sorry I didn't have time to take the tank off for pictures but you only have to cut the top of the brackets and leave the bottom, Don't hit them with a hammer else you could hit the frame and damage it. Just cut them all off and grind the rest. Use a dremel with cutting disk, it will take some time but its the only way to get a clean cut without cutting your frame. Also cut from the welds on top only to take off the unwanted metal and make room for the tank. The tank will also line up cleaner with the frame. Well I finally got to installing my key but not wired yet. I also took off the carbs rubber boots today and got to look inside the cyclinder. Not only it was reeeaaally clean, I wish I had the time to take the head off and give it a little port and polish!

Bike looks good, man.Ya know, iwas considering port work, too. These motors are nothing like the big block chevys im used to playing with. When these things hit redline they just pull harder. They dont know when to quit.I dont think their is any airflow restriction in these puppies!lol

From what I have read; there is not a whole lot to do to the head. A blueprint, and polishing could not hurt though.

I know..A little p&p just to take off the small bumps and smooth it out, high performance ignition and rejetting would be nice!! I thought about though and it just wouldn't be a good idea to have all of this with no front brakes lol. I'm just gonna have to stick to my plan and just use it to scoot around. Tools, do these blocks have or get any oil clog spots in the block or head? I think I'm gonna just build me an oldschool all drag bike with the cb750 motor I got.

Cool build man.. I love bobbers. I'm too much of a pussy to not have rear shocks though.. You might feel the same way if your roads looked like my city's do.

Thanks! I love bobbers also, each bike has a different identity to it own that can't be duplicated. Some streets are bad around here too. My last bike wasn't fun because I didn't have any padding on the seat and the shocks where bad. So I cut the springs short so that I wouldn't any rebound and it sat solid stiff. Great for launching but not going over bumps lol I had to jockey it a couple of times lol

Tools, Thank you for the tip on the cycleone weld on hardtail. I ordered mine today, nothing custom, just the standard hardtail. I also started on cutting off the middle  section. All I got to do now is wait the 4 to 6 weeks for me to recieve it, cut the three points and weld it on.

Well, I been really busy but everything is going great! I going a diffrent direction from where I started, the picture is just a teaser  Tools, did you get your with that plate covering the back bone? I had to cut mine off for a weld-on solo seat hinge but other than that, very nice! Thanks againFunny, my car in the back is my other pride but has been getting neglected and ignored. 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with K&N intake system, American Eagle Wheels and Mickey Thompson tires.

Oh man super COOL! Did, you get 4 inches of stretch total? I had asked Red to leave off that plate, or make it flat. He made it flat. It looks a lot better flat. I had shown the hardtail sections to friends, and they made comments that the plate looked like something from Startrek.

Thanks guys! I got the stock mesurements but the plate did look like it's from Startrek. Did Red tell you what the plate was for and what seat are you using?
