Well my bike is different from yours so I can't be too much more help
On mine, to replace the shifter seal, I just have to remove the shift lever. There is a bolt that holds it on.
From there, the seal is right there. Pull it off, oil the shaft and new seal. Carefully slid it in and put the lever back on was about it.
The seal under the sprocket I have not had to replace. BUT you should be able to take the sprocket cover off with no issues.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
