I've been looking around for some Iridium spark plugs and I have hit a road block. I am getting conflicting part numbers. I have a 1978 CB750K. The Googles tell me the part number is DR8EIX. However, parts suppliers are giving me a conflicting number and saying that the DR8EIX is for a Kawasaki. As far as I know it may work in a Honda, a Harley, a Kawi etc.
If anyone has any experience with these could you tell me which part number I need. As far as I know the engine is original.
Thanks Guys!

$42 for a set, with $11 shipping? You can get them from Summit Racing or any of the other auto part stores for $8 each, for a total of $32. Seems a little weird to me, but I'm just cheap that way.

DR8EIX is correct. They are the easiest, least expensive method of improving the ignition system... But you probably knew that already. Most auto parts stores charge around $8 per plug, without S/H. Buy them locally, you get to put them in, and fire them up the same day. Cheers!

I just got back from my first ride after installing a set of these plugs. There was a noticeable difference, the bike started instantly they also cleared up the rough running I was experiencing at lower RPMs (2,000 to 3, 000). It used to surge and felt rough when trying to hold to 25 or 30 MPH, I usually just put in 2nd gear if I was going that slow to move the RPM up. But with the new plugs it just purrs so I don't have drive through the small towns at 4,000 RPM any more.
I was so pleased with the way it ran I rode it about 6 hours today, more than 200 miles. It was very windy and cloudy with a little rain, but it was still a pleasure to ride. I didn't get a lot of pictures but I did want to share these:
And I won $10 at their casino when I stopped in for lunch! Great day.

Similar experience to my '79. Transformed the performance. Rode around 80 miles today, also. Windy, but worth the effort.
During the Vietnam war, our nation treated our veterans very poorly. I get the impression this nation never wants to make that mistake again. Thank goodness!!! Little over $5 a plug with a good friend discount, then shipping whatever that would cost. Thing is I don't know how many plugs my good friend discount will get me. If your on a VERY tight budget hit me up. If i could I would supply everyone but don't think I could ask for 60 plugs, every few months.
