A 60 spoke wheel looks sweet.

Yamaha 83 sx650 fork and wheel will fit a 78 cb750.

Thanks Shiny now I need to figure out if I am going to run the 16" back wheel or look for a 18 or 19" for the back two get the same tire size look.

I am thinking about cutting and adding 3" to a yamaha tank to get it to fit and look right. Right now it is to narrow and the petcock will not pass the from rail.

Hi all
Question I am looking to hide most of my electricals under the tank. Before I go making brackets and changing the wiring so they will reach is there anything that would get too hot under there?

I don't think so. If you ever see the Santee boxes guys run on choppers they sit right on the engine itself.INSIDE a box with very little airflow and they seem to hold up OK. Under the tank will actually channel quite a bit of airflow if you look at it. I got my stuff under there. Wait about 5 years and I'll tell ya if it holds up or not

I got an 18'' rear rim if you are interested. The chrome is not perfect, but not horrible either. Show bike-NO. Clean rider/20 footer-yes. Just the rim though,no spokes.Of course it's just a lowly 40 spoke.lol

I'm glad to see you doing this Shultz. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this leads.

Thanks Shiny I may take you up on the rim. I just was not sure on putting the elec's under the tank but you are right it will get air. I don't know what I was thinking.

I am going to play out the 40 spoke rear and 60 front Just because. See how many people notice it.

Got this tank today off E-bay.  Not realy what I was looking for but I think it will fit nicely once mounts are made and we ever get to the paint. It has a real big tunnel. Good place to get some elect's in to.

I am trying. Used some auto stripper on the tank and found some small holes I need to fix.  They might be about the size of lead in a pencil.

Did a little bit of cleaning and polishing on some side covers today.  Just waiting on parts. But I still have other things I can do. keeping it moving. notice my screw organizer. Poke them into a box as I was taking them out.

I just throw them in a bucket/box/trash. Never worried about which hole they came out of.

What do you do when you have a long screw left over with a shallow hole to fill?

This way I can just put them right back in where they go, No guessing
