Got the wheel today. thanks Shiny looks like it will do very well. I think I am going to try cleaning the spokes and wheel up  up and maybe paint them with one of the colors from my color scheme.

What I have been up to on the bike. striped the anodize, cleaned and polished the bar contrals. stripped the brake master. Painted it dover white and polished the top. Well there is the first color for my paint job.

          Switch looks good from here but is kinda cloudy
     I paintd my brake res. eng.black ,
     but if anything I would polish, would be it due to fluid mess on it.
     I'm good at not getting it messed up so far,Just my 2 cents ...

Sorry I have been slacking on the build. Job took me to Mountain Home N.C. ( Training ) Then got home and started on some drywalling.. But I keep thinking about what is setting in the garage. Its calling me to do some thing.

So I have been E-mailing and calling places I find on the net for a exhaust. No luck. Anyone know of any where that will do costum exhaust work and chroming?

Well hoping this will start moving again soon. Just placed a nice little order with Dime City. But it was for some of the things I need.

both throttle cables, new speedo cable, 2.5 speedo, internal throttle tube, 11" shocks, 32" drag street bars and alternator gasket.

We will see what they look like when they get here.

I like the Yamaha front wheel and all but I am thinking about shopping for factory front forks, brake, and wheel. I don't know what to do. <<<<< input please

Thats a nice list of parts! As far as input: what are you shooting for and will the Yammy wheel do what you want?

Its the look of the rim. Not sure if I like the rim style of the yammy or the factory Honda.

I think I've got most of a front end for a SOHC. I have a complete 81 C frontend,brakes and all. I dont think I have any front wheels. But I might. My memory is really pitiful lately.

I think the 78 fork are like 32" over all and that would be a good start for the stance of the bike. If you have complete caliper wheel and forks let me know what you want for them. That way all I need to do is bolt it all on and I am go to go. I don't care about the spokes as I am going to see about stainless.

This is what I have.No wheel,no axle,no axle clamps,no rotor. I do have forks,master cylinder caliper,triples,hub. I may have two rotors for sale in a few weeks,but not sure on that yet.

Oh,these forks tubes are not great. Off fo a 78K. The chrome where the seal travels is fine,up around the top is rusty,though. They are rideable,but not something I would wanna run on a show bike or something I was really concerned with the looks of it.I can get you a better pic when my digital camera is in a better mood

I can pic up a rim, rotor and axle from ebay.

I should have your address somewhere.  So you want the fork legs, hub, caliper and a speedo drive?  How does $70 sound?  But you need a better pic of these forks before you decide.
