Leather saddle bags

Any body use them and if so have any luck? Where do they hang the best?

I have a set of leather bags. LOVE them!!!!!!!!!!! When I want to use them I just open the seat, and sling them under it, then close the seat, all done. Also they will easily hold two cases of beer.

is there a way to "open" the seat otehr than to remove the who stupid thing [80K]. annoying.

I had these on the chop. I liked them. The seat on that bike was hinged at the front and if I was worried about where I was leaving the bike at I'd just grab the bags and take them with me,just like Tools said. I sold that bike but kept the bags. I need storage on my cafe,but just cant bring myself to flop these on the bike

Fully custom obviously, but still a great idea if you've already moved the battery and are running pods.
