Took the bike out for short trips. Don't want to go too far until I get the Honda shop to brat the chain master link rivet.  A few leaks here and there that are being addressed.  Runs great.

I do not think the Honda place did any machine work.
They just drove it to a machine shop and charged you a bunch of money .

Lucky is probably right. I know for SURE that Wenatchee Honda lied on my CB450. They didn't touch the valves. Quincy Honda actually did the valves.

Wenatchee Honda also did this bike. It's very likely that they didn't touch the valves.

I'm still getting lower compression on No. 1 cylinder (95 psi vs 135 psi on others) and faint oil smoke at idle from No. 1 exhaust pipe.  It just turned 500 miles since rebuild.  I pulled the plugs and all have heavy carbon soot deposits.  I cleaned an re-installed.  The bike now runs rough at cold idle with some backfiring and has a gasoline odor.  Once it warms up, it idles much better.

I later want to pull the cylinder head and have the valves serviced properly by another Honda dealer. Right now, my enthusiasm to start this project doesn't match the effort of pulling the carbs and yanking the engine out again.
