My father and I bought 2 CB's at the same time for $450.00 for both of them with clear titles. The bike was 100% stock with a bad cylinder head when I bought it. Started chopping away at it and she turned into this. I always wanted to put a newer front end and swingarm on an old school bike so thats what I went for first..The front end and rear swingarm are off of a 2008 Kawasaki ZX-14. There was a lot of modification to get them to work, but where there's a will, there's a way. The tail is a "Universal Bimoto" tail piece. I'll get some pics of my exhaust on here. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out as a whole. Thanks for the good words.

BTW, swingarm is stock. Just looks stretched because the stock CB swingarm is very short.

Battery is under the seat pan inside of the oil tank. All of the electrical wiring is ran through the frame to everything inside of the tail piece.
The tail piece is from a place called Airtech Streamlining. They have a TON of products to choose from.

I like the oil tank, was planning the same thing for mine. I wouldn't of chromed (maybe silver powder coat?) the frame it needs a bit of contrast in there but if you paint the engine a dark color maybe the shade of red you did the tank and seat in it would look very nice.  Looks fantastic either way just what you like go for it. Any plans to upholster the seat?

Also please please please tell me you put a big bore kit in the engine and did some mods to it.  That looks way too damn nice to not to have more go to it than a stock CB750.

Why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to god one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.

I could tell you that I had the 836cc kit in it, but I'd be lying. My goal was honestly to get it together for riding this year. I'm in Michigan so our summers are short. I decided to do the 836cc in the winter months so I could get a couple of weeks on the road before the temp drops too low.

As far as the seat goes, I'm just running the closed cell foam race padding.

836 is the way to go if you want a durable engine from what I've read also what I was thinking for my 76 F.

If you have some could you put pics up of how you did the rear swing arm? Im curious how the mono shock is mounted.

I made the picture large so you can get a decent look at whats going on under there. Pretty simple, just gotta get your top mounting point for your shock in a good spot so it stays centered through the swingarm. Used the stock ZX-14 3-way linkage on the bottom. One side of it mounts to the 2 tabs I made coming off of the center tube, other side ges to the swingarm and the shock mounts to the middle hole.

Wow that is beautiful.  The welds I could see look fantastic did you do the welding (guessing TIG?) or did you have someone do it?

I wanted to let you know about putting in the 836 kit with these 750F's. I'm still new to these bikes so maybe one of the experts (that means you Tools) can correct me if I'm wrong on this but these bikes have a larger dome to the piston. From what I have read online if you drop in any ol 836 pistons it will drop you CR.  Your bike being a 75 is an F1 but below is a link to cycle x who sell "correct" pistons for doing a 836 on a F2(77-78) and keeping the CR normal. You will need to scroll down a bit but I think they will work for the 75 F1 as well.

I was planning on using these for my build so I hope they will work.

The F bikes have a different head with larger valves, and a different combustion chamber. The 836cc kit will lower the compression like Samir said. I do not know how much. However with today's gas?
