Thanks, but I can't take credit, for the tank. His late brother used to have a body shop, and he did the tank's, for the bike. That guy has been riding since the late 60's. I doubt there is anything I could teach him.

You do not want those piece of shit bleeders. they are speed bleeders, and just do not work on a bike. Some jerk at some independent HD shop sold them to him.

What's your beef with SpeedBleeders?  I've got them, and they work great, for me.  I have the original, not a knock-off.  Never had a problem with them, 3+ years.

Those were the first time I had used them. Could not get the system to bleed through them. Ended up just slightly pumping the lever, and letting the air bubble up through the master cylinder. It is hard enough to bleed a dry system on a motorcycle without trying to force air down through a sprung unit. The master cylinder could not move enough fluid to compress the air enough to overcome the spring in the bleeder. I still need to get with him, and pressure bleed the system with a pump type oil can.
I am sure that the speed bleeders will work just fine on a car, or a system pushing a lot of fluid, or even not fighting gravity. I just do not want to fight with them again.

Yea that was nice enough. I took the stock drive, and used my Dremel tool to cut the outer ring off. Then I drilled an 1/8 inch hole in the flange that was left. I then used JB Weld, and the axle to center the drive in place. After the JB Weld set up I drilled the 1/8 inch hole into the hub about 1/2 inch. I then tapped a 1/8 X 1/2 roll pin into the hole leaving about 1/16 inch out. Have over 8,000 miles with out any problems.

I put the socket into the center, and clamped it to the bench to hold the drive, then rested the Dremel against the screw, and turned the drive around the socket to cut the outside off.

Yep. The JB Weld holds it in place until the roll pin is installed, but I doubt it has let go on mine yet. I changed the front tire awhile back, and it was still holding.

Have an update on this bike. My buddy is wanting me to build him another engine with an 836cc kit, web cam, and Cycle-X duel carb system. I checked on machine work today, and he is coming over tomorrow, so I can help him order the parts. I can't wait!!!
Here is the victim doner engine. A low mileage 71 engine that is stuck because an idiot let it sit on his patio, and get wet after he used the frame to build a trike.
