Sharp! Can you give more details as to mod's? It looks as though you installed an oil pan, and oil cooling system, off of a CB900, with steel braided oil lines, as well. Is the battery in the tail section, or just removed for the photo shoot? That is hardcore bike porn, friend. I would feel... Almost dirty viewing it in public -- good thing I'm seeing it in the privacy of my own home. Cheers!

yeah....CB900 oil pump,pan, ss lines & cooler. R1 rear sets, GS1000 rear cowl, CB750C tank-top cut out & flattened, Minimal electrics-lights,horn,ign. Pearl sivler, Pearl copper, gloss black. Rear cowl has antique Honda Wings on one side, Ilse of Mann badge on other.

Normally, I ignore cafe conversions, as I have little interest, or understanding of them. Yours, however, is truly a work of art. Thanks for sharing more details on it, and especially more pictures! The workmanship is superb. Would you be willing to make a video of it running, and being ridden? More porn -- ah, photo's would be appreciated as well. Cheers!!!

Very Sharp! All those mods really pay off in spades for a cafe' "C" model. (pun intended)
After reading soooo many times it shouldn't be done, how do the stock carbs do with the pods and an open header? Seems it should be awefull lean. Did you do anything more than rejetting?

Beautiful. Now that I've done a lot of reading on jetting and pods of. I think I'm going to give pods a go. Still not sure if I'll go bobber or cafe, but it hasn't seen is inspiring.

the pods are not a problem. the header recently got a tip and an incert baffle. the jetting is still getting worked out as the other changes 810cc/900 head-cams/900 carbs, need more dialing in. runs good, but soon to be dyno tuned for the best. Dyna2000 programable ign is the best part for multiple curves.

Awesome 'C-afe some really trick parts on there.
Just what IS the fork and wheel-set though? Looks kinda like a CBR1000F fork perhaps? I'm interested 'cause the rear caliper looks really close to stock yet the rotor for that bike is 276mm - I wanna convert the rear disc on a CB750F1 SOHC wire-spoke hub by drilling out the rivets, stick the 296mm discs up FRONT where they belong, the 276mm is still big but at least saves a little weight and clearance away from my Marzocchi Strada-II shocks, and yeah if THAT'S the CBR1000F caliper or some other version of 276mm disc then I'd JUMP on the thing. I figure it looks retro enough it won't screw up the whole vibe I'm going for.
But yeah I should think if you're gonna mention the mods to the bike, the fork and wheel swap is the most radical of a change you should mention THOSE details before the bog-standard 900 sump & cooler mod....

They guy who built this bike hasn't been back in 2 1/2 years. I can't say for positive on the yokes, but I know the rims are CBR F2 rims. Front forks definitely appear to be CBR1000, like you said. Judging by the stanchions, discs, calipers and fender mounts. Lack of preload cap dates them as pre-F3, but I'm not sure exactly what year the forks are.
CBR F,F2,F3 all run the same rear caliper, with only very small changes ( mostly styling changes) throughout the years. I've got a F2/F3 style rear disc and caliper mounted on the back of a SOHC. Look at the last few pages of the Hackjob thread.
