Some say some of the 1st thing'S' you should change is the plastic sleeve in swing arm and the ball bearings in the neck,I'm on that now ,BUTThere's no slop in the swing at all, just checked ,So thinking of putting on hold till rear tire change
( good riding 2k at the most till then ?).
Your right I think that the look your wonting you need those spokes,
For pulling a trailer I need a mag in rear and the stock set-up is great.
And were are some fresh pic's ?

the 620 chain is in perfect condition, so are the gears, so I'm going to run that, I don't feel like spending the money on a new 530. I gotta save cash where I can. I'm glad I didn't get the fork seals yet, because the new ones are pristine. The new engine is in just wonderful condition, in fact everything accept the master cylinders are. those are shot. I guess I'll rebuild them, unless yinz know if I could use some off say an R1 or GSXR something new. I can't figure a reason why I couldn't.
i read up on doing the dual front Disc brakes, and They said I need a speedo colar off a cb550 so that it will fit inside the dic... can any of you corroborate that?
I got so many parts now I kinda don't know where to begin...
What should my next step be? swap the new forks onto the fram? That sounds good. think I'll do that... Then I can instal my new gators and headlight ears. then I'll start painting the new gauges. maybe pop that engine on the new frame., clean out the carbs.. I could hear a nice compression sound coming through the carbs as I spun the engine... thats refreshing.

You do not need the CB 500-550 speedometer drive. You can modify the CB 750 one, and use it. You cut the out side of the drive off where in curves down. Then JB weld it to the hub, using the axle to hold it in place. After the JB cures; drill a 1/8 inch hole through the speedometer drive gear, and into the hub about a 1/2 inch. Then install a 1/8 inch roll pin. Let it stick out about a 1/16 of an inch. It will work perfect.
