OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got my permit today.took it out for a spin.when i got back i noticed some leakage.is this boot possibly the cullprit?

Looks kinda not like oil. Looks like gas that pooled there and is dirty. I cant think of anything there that would leak oil. I will check my manual and see what it shows.

its oil.i just changed the oil before i took it for a ride so thats prolly why it looks weird.the oil is brand new.

thanks though.i tried to look through that manual that i downloaded but i couldnt find anything.

That is the oil pressure switch under the boot. I have seen a few of them leak where the plastic switch is crimped to the case and where the screw holds the connecter on. Pull the boot back and clean up the oil . start the bike and watch the switch. It probably won't take long to see the oil leaking there. If it is you will have to replace the switch. Be sure to use thread sealant when you screw the new one in.

rite on.thanks,but for the time being,(untill i get a new 1)couldnt i just take this 1 off and put some sealant on it?or is it leaking because its broke?
