Picked this up today

This post was updated on .
First I would like to say hello as this is my first post on the forum. I have a VTX 1800N and a CB650C, that I currently ride.  Late last night I was surfing Craigslist and found this non running 81 CB750 Custom with title and 11K on the odometer.  The previous owner bought it for her husband 9 years ago at which time it was ridden.  8 years ago he parked it  and continued to start it until about a year ago, after which it just sat outside in NC.  Now to the reason I bought it.  First thought was to take it apart and part it out and learn a little about how these are put together to build my very weak motorcycle mechanical knowledge.   I have since wondered since putting it in the garage if it might be worth getting running. I do not want to price myself out on this as versus parting it out while giving forum members excellent prices, and more importantly learning a little about the CB.  I have included some pics and would enjoy hearing from your vast experience.

I'd try getting it running again. It's (allegedly) really easy, and they're fun bikes when running well!
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

Unless I'm mistaken, it's in pdf format, and English. Maybe there's a problem with your pdf reader? No one else has said it's in Chinese.

I apologize for using the term chinese.  What I meant is that it comes up garbled with a bunch of letters and symbols and is unreadable. Not a big deal I will find it elsewhere I do have the current acrobat reader.

Thanks and again sorry for not being clearer.

ETA:  Was able to download via google.  Thanks it will come in handy as I have decided to disassemble and part out.

Anyone care to tell me what the used carb bank is worth as well as the  tank which is pretty clean inside.  I have a guy in the neighborhood begging me for them but wont offer a price.  Just looking for a fair price.  Thanks again for all help.
