Question about upgrading to stainless steel brake lines.

mrunclegibbons
So I'm thinking about upgrading to stainless steel lines on my 78 cb750k, but all the brake lines I see don't exactly look compatible. My line comes from the master cylinder, then connects to some short bit of metal hosing and then connects to the caliper. All the lines I see are strictly the brake line without the short bit of metal hosing. Do I just go straight from master cylinder to caliper?

Yep, you got it right. That bit of solid pipe was just a precaution to keep things out of the wheel, but it's not needed.

You can get stainless hoses in black and also with a jacket if you don't want your hose scratching up any painted surface it contacts.

You just attach the new banjo fitting to the caliper with a very short banjo bolt.
