I love my work sometimes. I fixed a couple loose electrical connections on a widows furnace and didn't feel right charging her. She kept insisting I bill her and I kept refusing. Finally she asked if I like pinto beans and cornbread ...I just patted my belly and smiled. :)

I gotta take her bowl back but that's a worth the trip in my book! God bless lil old ladies! Guess what's for dinner?

I have been moving and fixing the new house for about 3-4 weeks. Fun fun fun. Starting to get back to the norm now with just a few projects to do. Then maybe I can get back to the build.

Just back from Kareoke, lol it was a good one.   Bike has been wrapped up for a month but I might try to start it up tomorrow. (50F,10C), heat wave moving thru.   I burned off the carbs but did a bad job, so it's an excuse to get it right (and take a ride aroung town)  , cheers guys!

An old bike like mine that I had posted in an earlier pic has popped back up for sale close to home for $1000.   Much better shape than mine, with a rise in temps I might go for a last look, what do you guys think? can't go wrong for that price.

I've been stuck in maintenance window hell for the last 5 weeks, and I've got 3 more to go. Gotta pay the bills, and sometimes that means weird hours. Plus, most of the people on this site are in the US of A, and winter's coming. Time for rebuilds, and stuff like that.  Perhaps we should highlight some procedures on how to winterize the bike.

So, the story goes like this:
We got a crew together in Columbus to go down to John and Patty's house in Knoxville TN. Time for a new roof on their house. Good Christian couple, BIG house (about 30 square for the roof).

So, we're re-doing the roof, talking about traditional family values, man is head of the household stuff, and Patty yells up that she's going to take the van to the store.  John says, OK.

Seeing Patty back out of the driveway, one of us says to John, "John, I notice you let your wife drive all on her own."

Patty stops and pulls back into the driveway, apparently she forgot to get something.

Without missing a beat, John replies, "Yeah, but I don't let her drive too far."

The whole crew starts laughing so loud, Patty comes out, stares at John, and says, "Johnny, I'm gonna GIT you!"
