Just finished shingling the roof Thursday. I'll pop the ridge vent on if it will ever stop raining. Still got to hang siding and run the magic pixies to it. It's all wired up, minus a service panel and lights. I'm killing time waiting for a cheap ones to pop up on CL. :)

I think it's time for you to take a vacation to Canada . . . last Monday (the day after we got back from two weeks holidays) we had a bit of a deluge . . . rain rain and more rain. I happened to be wandering around the house (trying to look busy so I wouldn't be put to work) when I noticed the walls were wet by our upper staircase. checked around . . . . leaky roof (bad leak!), water poured in and ran to where our ceiling fan is hung, dripped through to the blades and was thrown around.

all that to say . . . hey, I need a new roof and you have experience . . . want to come up and demonstrate it?

Yeeeaasssss...finally!!! The first camping trip of the season...

"Trusty", my XR400, is loaded and ready to rock in the AM. Meeting up with a group of guys I don't know to go to a place I don't know and ride on some type of terrain that I also don't know.

"Hey, wanna go on a dual sport ride and do a little camping?"

"I'm in! When do we leave and what's up?"

"Leaving Saturday morning to meet up with a group and ride around Damascus. Do you know the area?"

"Never heard of it. I'll see you Saturday morning."

Even stuck on a little mirror to be legit.
