So here I sit

lostson
So here I sit at work for the past 2 days combing through the forum and all the posts. Lots of excellent knowledge in here and some of the customs builds are amazing. The only bad thing about sitting behind these screens all day and reading all the great tips and tricks and looking at these custom builds, is I really want to jump on my bike and head somewhere.  Preferably somewhere with spare parts so I can get home and tear things apart.

Just tell the boss to "Take this job, and shove it!" Then, you will be able to spend lots of time with your bike.

"Do what you love, and the money will follow."

Sage advice for my wife: she got tired of the corporate cubicle rat race, and the commute, and the whole schmeer.

She now goes to estate sales, auctions, overstocks, buys stuff for cheap, and sells stuff on online auction sites (EBay, Etsy, etc).  She also does picks for some selected clients (you'd be surprised to see what people collect... Stand Mixers? Early 40s oscillating fans?) So far, we're living on what I make, and all her business money goes towards our retirement (and some butter and egg money for her).

Never seen her happier. And if Mama ain't happy, ain't no-body happy.

A girl Crystal works with collects vintage vacuum cleaners. Her and her friends get together at each others houses with their ''collections'' and vacuum one another's houses....yeah...people collect all sorts of stuff.

Agreed. I'll provide the vacuum, they provide the love.
