and fwiw, I'm jealous of a garage/work space that can be used as such. I lost my garage after about a month of moving in -- well, I didn't lose it, my wife just took it over -- it is amazing how much garden stuff accumulates

Garden stuff belongs in the garden!  You need to put your foot down, and stand up, for your rights! Also two can play at that game. What, you do is take over her kitchen, or living room. Start with rebuilding a set of carbs on the kitchen table, or the Coffey table. then decorate with motorcycle parts. Store extra parts, for your next project in the bed room (I have my new exhaust, for the Bob-a-matic under the bed  ).

I start doing something like that and I won't be alive to go to KC!  Problem is that a home business has taken over the garage . . . and the back room . . . and the living room is the only "sane" place of escape so I don't want to destroy the place of peace.
