Yep. I don't know how I made it this long without a lathe to be honest. I find myself on it way more than I thought I would. I make the dumbest things sometimes, though. Like washers. It's to hard to find washers that really fit what you're working on sometimes. It's the small things that bug me the most.

Yes...Running without the air box will have a marked effect on how it runs.
It will probably idle high and bog or pop if you try to give it quick throttle.

Nope. No regrets. I had fun building it. I had fun riding it. Then I tripled my money. All is well!

The only thing I'm gonna miss is the tank emblems. Those are something I can't replace.

Yeah! get rid of those SOHC bikes.
It's only illegal if you get caught.

If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid

Sorry did not know about your dog passing, But you do know that southern boys are supposed to have a deep personal relationship with their vehicles.

That only counts for trucks. Otherwise, it's all about horsepower. haha  Nah,for me it's all about the build. Once I do what I had planned for a vehicle I'm pretty much over it. Then it's time to move on to other things.

But I am a truck guy. The only vehicle's that I've sold that I ever missed had beds on them.

Those are actually clamp-on style valve cover breathers for autos. I honestly only know of one place to get them and that's my buddy's speed shop. The vendor that he gets them from only sells to their distributors and I don't know of any online distributors for them. Just call Qwik Time Performance on Christian Ave. in Roanoke,Virginia. 540-206-2597. Wayne should answer the phone. Tell him you want some of the air cleaners Eric had on his motorcycle. He'll know what you mean.
