The best regular welding helmet for all around welding is the Huntsman 411P.
It was used during WWII in the ship yards and is still used to this day.
It fits everybody. It has been used in many welding schools for that reason.
It is the lightest weight helmet and lowest cost.
A great value for the money and every welding store and big box store has lenses to fit.
It uses the most common size glass.

I am a certified welder and a certified welding inspector.

right on..im guna need one of those auto darkening ones..im not very good with the flip down kind..i tend to lose my spot and start welding something that im not supposed to.

You know the other day was the first time I ever used an auto darkening helmet. I had taken my new welder back to the welder store because it would not hold an arc. They had an auto helmet they let me try out. It was better then I expected. I might have to get myself one.
