cb750 1980 custom pilot screw

I need to get the air mixture screw out of the carb thats factory set can anyone tell me how to go about this please

rockyboy, does your pilot screws have the little tang on them preventing you from turning them more than 1 turn in each direction?,, if thats the case take a hacksaw blade and hold it with vise grips and cut a little angled piece off the carbs casting right where the pilot screw tang hits, it doesn,t take much, i had all mine cut in 10 minutes, then u can adjust those pilots anyway u want, mine are 2 1/2 turns out is good for my bike,,82 cb750k,,,with 4 into 1 header, stock airbox, runs great,,,hope this helps,,mykey440

those are the idle fuel mixture screws, 1 on every carb, i hope we are talking about the same thing??
located on the bottom of each carb towards the engine right,,?? no air passes through them only fuel..

ok rocky, im sure you will have no problems, i did mine while they were on the bike, a little patients but that metal is soft, hacksaw will go right through it, let me know, good luck...
