hi just wondering i have a 1995 cb 750 f2 and when you are in fifth gear it seems it needs another gear, any one have issue like or is it just how they are, the bike before was a 1995 cb500r my opinion the best bike ive had, really bulletproof,thanks johnny

Guessing you didnt get it new. I would look at the rear sprocket as being non stock possibly. But then you didnt really describe when you feel this or what speed you are going. I mean, it isn't going to do 160mph. They top about 120-130 or so.

no re-run only had it a couple of months, i feel it if im only doing 50 or 60 mph it feels like it wants to go up another gear to get a bit more speed, it still gets there maybe its just in my head, whats the best sprocket for it, thanks bud

What is your rpm at 60? If it is hitting 6 or 7000, then the sprocket was probably changed for 1 with more teeth to get faster accel. If it is about 4000, then it is fine. These engines are made to rev and don't be afraid of high rpm.

I agree with Rerun. I like my bikes to be at about 6,000 rpm at 65-70 mph. It doesn't hurt them, it doesn't consume alot of fuel and they don't run hot or anything. I tried gearing for lower highway rpm's once and it just made the bike feel sluggish. Let her rip,IMO.
