just bought a couple of 750s

david451
I bought a couple of american imports both needing a small amount of work, both 70s models the ones with the oil tank cap on the outside.

One of them came with high rise bars and a king and queen seat, the exhausts and holed in places but other than that it's ok, the other on is standard and a tidy should do her.

Should I take the first one back to standard or since it needs bars, exhaust and seat, should I cafe it and if so does that kill its value.

Yeah, forget about value. Japanese bikes do not maintain much value except to specific collectors. Dream something up and then run with it. That s the beauty of these bikes, they are like blank canvases!
