Today was a cool day, remember the story about how I met the original owner of my 750?  Well he called me up last week and invited us to go for a ride in his Airplane this weekend.  I quickly accepted the invite and he flew down to our airport and gave the girls and I a ride.  His plane is a two seater so we had to take turns.  It was a blast!  The plane weighs only 680lbs and has a 100hp engine I couldn't believe how responsive it was, it was really a great experience.  Here are some pics.

I had to take this pic, you all have seen wing nuts.....Well these actually where WING NUTS!!

That was really cool. However i just have to ask. Why are your trees brown, and all the neighbors trees green?

I don't know why they look brown??  From the ground they are yellow and gold.  My trees are like twice as tall as my neighbors maby that's why they are changing so fast.

It's crazy to think that plane only weighs 680 lbs. Especially considering a cb 750 weighs about 540 lbs!

I wonder if Honda makes a plane? I think Kawasaki made planes. Zeros to be exact.

Well i started in on the seat, some of ya wanted to see how I made the first seat so I took pics of this one as I went.  Its the same process I used before just longer, for 2 up riding.

Started with this

Made my marks

Cut it with a 4 1/2" cutting disk on a grinder

After sliding the pieces together I tack welded a support bar under the piece I had to shape so it would stay the same width when I form the top

After welding in the support I cut reliefs in the pan

Then I beat it with a hammer over my anvil untill it matched the shape of the front pan piece and tacked it together.

Had to cut some more reliefs in the side of the pan to get the rear cowl straight
and before

This is why I got time to work on the bike, Cant install glass in the snow!

Ill post more pics when I get some more done on it.
