P.S. If, you really want to do a vertical twin. Do a CB 450-500 twin. Very cool looking, and faster.

Tannerrinte?!?! You ain't right boy
Hey Daddy-o,got my speedo apart earlier. When you go to disassemble the speedo, the trip meter knob is left hand thread.Go ahead and separate the bezels as much as possible ,then reach in side and grab to trip meter stem with your needle nose pliers. Then you can turn the trip meter knob off and separate them completely.

Here is an e-mail I just received form him
Thanks John, for the pictures, kind words and for the reconnect. Wow what an awesome job you did. I did however notice that "Screaming Yellow Zonker" has lost considerable weight, since I rolled it off the showroom line. I seemed to have gained a great deal during that time period. "New Blew" is a fine piece of craftsmanship, you should be proud of this project. The 750F had always seemed to be rather tame, with room to improve. That you have accomplished. The early Asian superbikes had the potential to be "ballsy", "edgy" machines but were marketed as more refined animals. Thank you John, for bringing that animal to life in looks and in styling...superb.
