You mean the keys to the city?
It was just a counterweight to keep the bike from tilting forward.

Many people do the shopping in the daytime, while others are at work.
That is the reports I have been getting on the radio.

I really despise people that steal from others. That includes white collar criminals.

Uhmmm...cutting big bolts?

Looks like a counterweight to me. Sand bags do the same thing.

I did not weigh them unfortunately, but I picked up the stock steel complete wheel (no tire),
and the Aluminum complete wheel (no tire) and there was a significant difference.

I believe from what I can weigh is that the Aluminum wheels are 6 lbs. lighter.
But the aluminum brake rotor hub helps too.

The gold paint is Arm Prismatic Gold PMB-4303/CL 01.

Google Arm powdercoat?

Some sneak views of the bike with both wheels and seat and gas tank.

I took the trouble and money to order this special oil pressure rubber cover
all the way from Japan form Yamiya. It is like the original part.
It has a special cover over the wire so it can be next to the hot starter without
getting burnt.

Thanks Shinyribs,

The trick to that rubber boot is to bend the wire on the sending unit 90ยบ straight up
then when you get the boot on, bend it down again.
It took me two tries.

This is probably a stupid question, but is the tread pattern on the front wheel pointing the correct way?

I don't recall if the Avon's are rotation specific, but it looks backwards to me.

Just curious.  I'm willing to eat some crow if I'm wrong...not that it happens all that often.
