Back on the street with a '79 F SS

Construction work and motocross bikes caught up to me last year, at 56.
Doctor told me the piece of L4 disc he took out of my spinal canal looked like a medium sized shrimp.
I don't want to go thru that again.
So I went a lookin' for a 70's, maybe an 80's, naked 650 vertical twin.
Something to ease myself back into it with.
But this showed up.

Just barely idles, but runs strong.  $192.00 tags and insurance, 500 miles on it this first month.

Besides a set of clipon mirrors, maybe, it's staying stock.

Cool bike man. I like those slotted rotors. Is that factory or something someone modded?

Beautiful!  Enjoy, I can't stop looking at mine and I ride it 40 miles a day to work and back.  I look forward to it!  Welcome to the passion.

Hey Shiney  I really don't know.  Seems like they could stop a bit better for duals, maybe pads are glazed a bit?

And thanks guys, havn't had a street bike in maybe 20 years.
Did High School on a blue H1, a Sportster for a bit, then 2 CB 750s in a row.
I liked them all, but this one is really fun.

Nice CB you got there gunslinger, a worker eh?
