Damaged all my float needles with carb cleaner , YOU SHOULD NOT !

Well it was such stupid move to leave the float needles in a jar with the jets . Apparently carb cleaners caramelize plastic . Well I learned my lesson in a harsh way , and already bought the parts K&L

financial damage was $20 but I'm gonna miss out 2 days of fantastic weather to ride here in Brooklyn

According to...?

The ones in my '76 had been sitting in the bike for 4 years before I got it. They were still fine when I sold it a few months back. I rode with them for about 3 years.
