Gas Tank

edwinmedina28
Hey guys, it's been a while. As always, I have a question that I feel confident you guys can answer for me. I want a different tank on my bike. I want a fatter tank, both for looks and to up my gallon capacity. Am I shit out of luck and can only put a cb750 tank on it or can I use a different type of tank? I have a 1980 cb750 custom.

Thanks guys

You could put a 5 gal can with a deep channel on anything

With your tank off you see those lower 2 backbone barstheres were the prob. is clearing(wide)them .Could let it set high

I am going to use a old Yamaha 1100 tank. It will need some fab work but I think it will be ok. They have a very big channel.

A little cutting welding and a big hammer. Should work good.
Simple if some one else can, why can't I
