That's why I asked, from the pictures you posted it looked to be welded straight to the frame with small welds. Bud you might need to reconsider your tank mounting for your safety. If those welds break and your tank falls off it could cause some serious damage. Especially once its full of gas there will be a good bit of weight sloshing around, that and the vibrations alone will for sure, in time, tear your tank.

Thank you for letting me know. Im glad I havent place any gas in it yet. Im talking to the welder today because of the petcock relocation. Ill let him know about this. The tank came with brackets and bolts and nuts.

Im completely green to all this guys, so all advices are humbly welcome.

I got the welder to work on it on monday. Apparently he mention it to me and I didnt listen
